Maiya Samman Yojana 9th Installment 2025: ₹2,500 Transfer Update, Final Date, and Important Rules
A major update has been released regarding the 9th installment of the Chief Minister Maiya Samman Yojana. The Jharkhand Government has started the process of direct bank transfers (DBT) of ₹2,500 to eligible women beneficiaries for the month of April 2025.
Key Highlights
- ✅ Installment Amount: ₹2,500 for April 2025
- ✅ Expected Credit Date: Any day between Monday and Saturday, likely within the third or fourth week of May
- ✅ Next Installment (May): Will be credited in June 2025
- ✅ Payment Method: DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) only
- ✅ Required: District verification and DBT activation
What Has Changed in the 9th Installment?
Originally, ₹5,000 was to be credited covering both April and May. However, due to policy changes:
- Only ₹2,500 for April will be disbursed this month
- The May installment will be deposited next month (June 2025)
- The previous rule of sending payments to all districts on the same day has been lifted
Now, once a district completes beneficiary verification, the amount is released individually.
Beneficiary Verification Guidelines
The Women, Child Development and Social Security Department has directed all Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to:
- Prepare updated beneficiary lists after physical verification
- Remove ineligible names, such as:
- Women over 50 years of age
- Families with income taxpayers, government employees, or MLA/MP households
- Those availing other pension schemes
Only verified and eligible women will receive the payment.

These funds are ready for disbursement once each district completes verification.
