The latest installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been released by the Prime Minister from Varanasi. While many have received their payment, you might be concerned because the money has not yet been credited to your account, even though your family members and neighbors have received theirs. There is no need to worry. This article explains why your payment might be delayed and how you can verify if your installment is on its way.
Why Is My PM Kisan Payment Delayed?
Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the central government provides ₹6000 annually in three installments. The most recent installment was released by the Prime Minister at 11:00 AM.
The funds were disbursed to 9.7 crore beneficiaries. It’s important to understand that the banking system cannot process transactions for nearly 10 crore people instantly. Banks have other regular operations and customer services to manage and are not solely dedicated to processing PM Kisan payments.
Currently, only about 20% of the beneficiaries have received their payment. This means that 80% of the people are still waiting for the amount to be credited to their accounts. The payments are being processed in batches, and this will continue throughout the night and into the next day.
When to Expect Your Payment
You should not be concerned at this moment. The majority of the pending payments will be processed and credited overnight and throughout the next day. You should only be concerned if the money does not appear in your account by the end of the next day. Most beneficiaries will receive their funds by tomorrow.
How to Check if Your Installment is Coming
If you want to confirm whether you will receive your ₹2000 installment, you can check your payment status online. If your payment is reflected on the official portal, you are guaranteed to receive it. Follow these steps to check your status:
- Open Google and type “DBT Status Check”.
- Click on the official government portal link, which is titled “DBT Status of Beneficiary and Payment Detail”.
- On the portal, scroll down until you see the “Category” option.
- Click on the dropdown menu and select “PM KISAN” from the list of schemes.
- Ensure that “Payment” is selected in the next field.
- In the “Enter Application ID” box, type your PM Kisan Registration Number.
- Leave the “Beneficiary Code” field empty.
- Enter the characters from the “Word Verification” (Captcha) image into the provided box.
- Click on the “Search” button.
Understanding Your Payment Details
After clicking search, your payment details will be displayed. You will see information for your installments. If you see the latest installment listed with an amount of ₹2000 and a date after June 10th, it means your payment has been processed and is on its way. There is no need to worry; the money will be transferred to your account either tonight or by tomorrow.
However, if the portal does not show a new installment for June and the last visible entry is from an earlier period, such as February, it indicates that your installment has been stopped. In this case, you will not receive the payment.
