The long wait for farmers is finally over. The final date for the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been officially announced by the Government of India. After a wait of five and a half months, beneficiaries will soon receive the next payment in their accounts.
Final Release Date Confirmed
The 20th installment of the PM Kisan scheme is scheduled to be released on August 2nd. The funds will be transferred directly into the bank accounts of 9.7 crore (97 million) beneficiaries. The previous 19th installment was released on February 24th.
Release from Kashi, Varanasi
The Honorable Prime Minister will release the funds for the 20th installment from Kashi, Varanasi, in Uttar Pradesh. The amount will be directly transferred to the accounts of all eligible farmers across the country from this location.
About the PM Kisan Scheme
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the central government provides financial support of ₹6,000 annually to eligible farmer families. This amount is distributed in three equal installments throughout the year. The upcoming payment on August 2nd will be the 20th such installment provided under this scheme.
