The Jharkhand Government has officially announced that two installments—April and May—of the Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana will be paid together, amounting to ₹5000 per beneficiary. The money will be transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to 52–54 lakh Aadhaar-linked women bank accounts.
📅 When Will the Money Arrive?
- Payments will start within 2 days of the order (likely Monday–Tuesday).
- The final deadline to receive ₹5000 is 30th May 2025.
- Funds are already with the district treasuries; transfer to bank accounts is the final step.
🏦 Who Will Get the ₹5000?
✅ Only eligible women who:
- Have their bank account linked with Aadhaar
- Have DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) activated
- Have passed physical verification
🔁 If your Aadhaar is not linked, update it immediately either:
- ✅ Online via NPCI website
- ✅ Offline via your bank branch
📢 Special Cases: ₹12500 Also Possible
Some beneficiaries may receive ₹12500 instead of ₹5000:
- Women who didn’t receive ₹7500 earlier and have now corrected the issues (like data mismatch or inactive DBT)
- They will get ₹7500 (pending) + ₹5000 (current) = ₹12500 in one go

- Giridih district received the highest allocation: ₹97 crore
- Total state allocation: ₹969 crore
- Most affected districts with high beneficiary counts include: Ranchi, Dhanbad, Giridih, East Singhbhum, Deoghar, Bokaro, Palamu, Hazaribagh, Dumka, and others
📊 Scheme Transparency and Verification
To ensure transparency, the government:
- Excluded ineligible beneficiaries
- Is strictly enforcing Aadhaar linkage and final physical verification
- Made it mandatory for bank accounts to be DBT-enabled
This is the final verification round, so from next month, the process will be smoother.
