How to Download Your Ayushman Card at Home Using Your Mobile Phone You can easily download your Ayushman Card directly to your mobile phone from the comfort of your home. This guide provides a step-by-step process to help you get your card in just a few minutes. The Ayushman card provides up to 5 lakh of free medical treatment. ### Step 1: Install the Ayushman App To begin, you need to install the official application. First, open the Google Play Store on your phone or laptop. In the search bar, type “Ayushman App.” Find the official app provided by the National Health Authority, install it, and then open it. When you launch the app for the first time, you will see an interface from the National Health Authority. Click on “Accept” and allow the necessary permissions to proceed. ### Step 2: Log in as a Beneficiary Once the app is set up, you need to log in correctly. Start by selecting your preferred language. You will then see a login screen. It is very important to note that the default selection is “Operator.” You must change this by clicking on “Beneficiary.” After selecting Beneficiary, enter your mobile number and the captcha code shown on the screen, then click “Verify.” An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Enter this OTP, fill in the new captcha code that appears, and click “Login” to enter the app. ### Step 3: Search for Your Details After logging in, you can search for your family’s records to find your card. On the main screen, you will need to fill in a few details. For the “Scheme” option, select “PM-JAY” (Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana). Next, select your State from the dropdown list; the process is the same for all states. For the “Sub-Scheme,” select “PM-JAY” again. In the “Search By” field, choose “Aadhaar Number.” Finally, select your District and enter your Aadhaar number. Click the “Search” button to find your family’s information. ### Step 4: Locate Your Card and Begin Authentication After the search is complete, a list of all your family members will be displayed. Members whose cards are approved and ready for download will appear with a green “Download Card” option next to their name. If a card is not yet approved, it might show a red status like “Unapproved,” “Do eKYC,” or “Not Approved.” You can click on these to complete the process of creating the card. To download an existing card, click on the “Download Card” button for the specific family member. You will then be asked to choose an authentication method. The best and most straightforward option is “Aadhaar OTP.” Select this, then click “Yes I Accept” and tap “Allow” to continue. ### Step 5: Final Verification and Download The final step involves a two-factor OTP verification. Two different OTPs will be sent. The first is the “Beneficiary Aadhaar OTP,” which goes to the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar card. The second is a “Mobile OTP,” which is sent to the mobile number you used to log in to the app. These two mobile numbers may be the same or different. Carefully enter the Aadhaar OTP in its designated field and the Mobile OTP in its field, then click “Verify.” Once verified, a new screen will appear showing the list of your family members again. To download a specific person’s card, click on the arrow next to their name. The Ayushman Card will be displayed on your screen. At the bottom, you will see a “Download” option. Click it, and the Ayushman Card will be downloaded and saved to your phone. The card has a front and back page, similar in format to an Aadhaar card.
