The Government of India has launched a new quiz on the MyGov portal, offering citizens the chance to win significant cash prizes. The National Unity Quiz, launched in honor of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, is open to all residents. By answering 10 questions, you can not only test your knowledge but also earn rewards. This guide provides a step-by-step process to participate based on the information provided.
National Unity Quiz Prize Money
Participants have the opportunity to win substantial cash prizes. The prize structure is as follows:
- First Place: ₹1,00,000
- Second Place: ₹75,000
- Third Place: ₹50,000
- Participation Prize: Every participant is guaranteed to receive a prize, with amounts of ₹1,000 or ₹2,000 being awarded. You will receive a prize whether your answers are correct or incorrect.
How to Participate: A Step-by-Step Guide
To take part in the quiz, you must first visit the official MyGov portal. All new government schemes and initiatives are first announced on this platform.
Step 1: Navigate to the Quiz Section
- Go to the MyGov portal.
- In the corner of the homepage, click on the three horizontal lines (menu icon).
- From the menu, click on the plus sign next to “Micro Sites.”
- Select the “Quiz” option from the dropdown menu. This will take you to the main quiz page where various government quizzes are listed.
Step 2: Register or Log In
To play the quiz, you must have a MyGov account.
- If you are a new user: Click on “Register Now.” You will need to provide your full name, email, mobile number, and date of birth to create a new account.
- If you already have an account: Click on “Login to Play Quiz.” You can log in using your registered mobile number and an OTP, or by using your email and password.
Step 3: Start and Complete the Quiz
- Once you are logged in, find the National Unity Quiz and click the “Play Quiz” button.
- After reviewing the terms, click “Start Quiz” to begin.
- You will be presented with 10 questions and given 300 seconds (5 minutes) to answer them.
- You can change the quiz language from English to Hindi in the corner of the screen.
- Select your answer for each question and click “Next” to move to the following question.
- After answering all 10 questions, click the “Finish Quiz” button to submit your entry.
Download Your Certificate and Receive Your Prize
Immediately after completing the quiz, you will be able to download a National Unity participation certificate. The certificate will automatically include the details you provided during registration.
The quiz ends on November 30th. Winners will be contacted via email or SMS for their bank account details. The prize money is scheduled to be transferred directly to your bank account on December 1st. Alternatively, the government may deposit the funds into the bank account linked with your Aadhaar card.
