- Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana (PM-SYM): e-Shram card holders are eligible for a monthly pension of ₹3,000 after reaching the age of 60. To apply, you must be between 18 and 40 years old with a monthly income of less than ₹15,000.
- Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY): This scheme provides a life insurance cover of ₹2 lakh to your family in case of your death due to any reason. The annual premium is only ₹436. Eligibility requires being an Indian citizen between 18 and 50 years of age with a savings bank account.
- Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY): This is an accident insurance scheme. For an annual premium of just ₹20, you get coverage for accidental death or disability. In case of death or total permanent disability, your family receives ₹2 lakh. For partial disability, the benefit is ₹1 lakh. This is available to Indian citizens aged 18 to 70 with a bank account.
