- Aadhaar Card: This is a mandatory document.

1. Access the Official Portal First, open a web browser on your phone or laptop and search for the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana portal. Click on the official link to open the homepage. Here, you can see statistics, such as the total number of connections issued under the scheme.
2. Initiate the Application On the homepage, locate and click on the “Apply for New Ujjwala 2.0 Connection” link. This will take you to the application section.
3. Choose Your Gas Company You will be presented with three LPG provider companies: Indane, Bharat Gas, and HP Gas. You need to select one of these companies to apply for your connection. It is recommended to choose the company whose gas agency is located nearest to your residence. Click on the “Click Here to Apply” button next to your chosen company. The application form for all companies is largely the same.
4. Select Ujjwala Connection Type On the company’s portal, you will be asked to select the connection type. Choose the “Ujjwala” scheme option to avail the benefits. Accept the terms by checking the consent box.
5. Find Your Local Distributor Next, you must select your local gas agency or distributor. You can search for your distributor in two ways: by name or by location. What Happens After You Apply?

Within 7 days, you should receive a call from the gas agency you selected. They will ask you to visit the agency with your registration number to collect your new, filled gas cylinder and stove.
