Maiya Samman Yojana 9th and 10th Installment ₹5000 Update
Hello Johar! If you’re waiting for the ₹5000 amount under the 9th and 10th installment of the Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana, here’s the full verified update from the recent announcement.
While eligible women across Jharkhand eagerly await their next DBT credit under this welfare scheme, many are asking: Why has the money not been credited yet?
Big Questions Raised: What Went Wrong?
The delay in payments has led to some serious concerns, especially after reports of fraud surfaced. BJP Jharkhand, led by Babulal Marandi, raised issues of fake lists and fake Aadhar/Ration cards being used to claim money—particularly from Panchayats with no Muslim families, yet showing 174 Muslim women in the list.
This scam has raised questions about:
- Negligence by Panchayat Secretaries
- Approval without proper verification by BDOs (Block Development Officers)
- Errors during Pragya Kendra registrations
Updates on Abua Awas Yojana Related to This Scheme
In addition to the Maiya Yojana, updates on Abua Awas Yojana revealed:
- Several people received first installment housing funds but never began construction.
- Strict orders for recovery of funds and penalties have been issued.
- Fraud totaling ₹2.70 lakh was uncovered from 9 housing beneficiaries.
Maiya Yojana ₹5000 Payment Date: Latest Status
Despite the chaos, here’s the good news:
- The government has fixed 15th May 2025 as the last date to credit the ₹5000 amount (₹2500 for the 9th and ₹2500 for the 10th installment).
- Distribution to district-level accounts is expected between 7th to 15th May.
- If you’ve received the previous ₹7500 installment, then expect ₹5000 this time.
- If you didn’t receive the previous ₹7500 or ₹5000, and you’ve resolved the issue, you may receive ₹7500 + ₹5000 = ₹12,500.
Important: DBT and Age Criteria
Before expecting any money, ensure:
- Your DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) account is active
- Your bank passbook and Aadhaar are updated
- If you’re 50 years or older as of March 31, 2025, your name may be shifted to the Old Age Pension Scheme
Who Will NOT Get the Money?
You may miss out if:
- You haven’t activated DBT
- You no longer meet the eligibility criteria
- You haven’t submitted necessary documents or completed physical verification
In such cases, it’s advised to submit documents to your local Block Office (rural) or Zonal Office (urban) for future benefits.
Conclusion
While the 9th and 10th installments are delayed, the money is expected by 15th May. Make sure your DBT account is ready, and your details are verified. With fraudulent activities under investigation, genuine beneficiaries must act fast to stay eligible.
